ECW Christmas Luncheon-Change of Location

The ECW luncheon will now be held at the Alpine Inn and Grill in Alpine on Wednesday December 14th at 11 a.m. Please sign-up in the Foyer if you would like to attend. Car pooling is suggested.

January Almanac

If your have an article or  announcement you would like in the January Almanac, please have it into the office no later than  Friday December 9 at 1 pm. You can either bring a hard copy to the office or you can send a digital copy to cnosgood@stalbanschurch.info.

Christmas Flowers

If you would like to purchase a Christmas Poinsettias in memory or honor of a loved one please complete the flower envelopes located in the foyer or in your Christmas letter from Mo. Lark that will be arriving in the mail next week. The cost of a Poinsettia plant is $10. If you have any questions please contact Betty Johnsen or Cora Osgood.

2012 Episcopal Calendars are now available from the Altar Guild. If you would like to purchase one for $6.00 please see Betty Johnsen.

Homeless Meal in the Park

The next  Homeless Meal in the Park will be held Saturday, Dec. 24 at 3 pm. We will be meeting in the church kitchen at 2 p.m. to create box dinners and then distribute them at the park so we can be back at the church in time for the 4 p.m. service. Please sign up in the Parish Hall to help with food and beverage donations. If you have any questions please call Dick Walter.

Christmas Cookie Sale

ECW annual Christmas Sale will be Sunday December 11 after services. Bring your favorite cookies to help earn money for the church.

Episcopal Night at the Nutcracker

Join others from the San Diego Diocese as they watch the Christmas classic “The Nutcraker” performed by the California Ballet Company on Wednesday Dec. 21 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.sandiegotheatres.org/event tickets or by calling 858-560-6741. Plastic Grocery Bags

Refugee Ministry is in need of good condition plastic grocery bags for the Tuesday food distribution. Please bring your empty bags to church and leave them in the big basket in the Narthex.

Refugee Ministry Collection for December: Toilet Paper

Thank you to everyone who donated last month. In an effort to stock up on needed items for the refugees in our community, St. Alban's holds a drive each month requesting different items. Please place donations in the large basket in the foyer. Items are distributed every Tuesday morning in St. Alban's Parish Hall to the refugee community.
