We welcome children of all ages as active participants in our worship and church life!

Regular Happenings For Kids & Youth

Sunday School
Kids ages 5-12 are welcome to join us Sundays in the Sunday School room at 9:30am to learn more about God and one other with our fantastic Sunday School teachers. Children return to the church for a Children’s Sermon and to have Communion with their families.

Nursery Care
Beginning at 9:15am through the end of our worship service, childcare is provided by our licensed childcare giver and is available in the church Nursery for ages 0-4.

Children’s Sermons
Every Sunday children are invited to come forward during the service for a brief sermon and discussion of the day’s Bible lesson or theme. 

Acolytes
We invite and train mature children and youth to serve and assist at the altar on Sundays as acolytes.  Please let Judy Brown, our Acolyte Director, or Mother Rebecca know if you are interested in serving in this ministry and we will get you trained and fitted with an alb! This is a great opportunity to learn more about our worship.

Vacation Bible School
During mid July we hold a Vacation Bible School for kids ages 5-12 with plenty of games, crafts, snacks, learning, singing, and fun! Registrations begin in early June, so please contact the church office for more information.

Kids Communion Class
Every Fall we offer a class for children of all ages to learn more about the meaning of Communion, how we receive it, and why it is important to us as Christians. This class is not mandatory but all children are encouraged to participate. The class is open to children who have already begun receiving Communion or who are preparing for their first Communion.

Youth Confirmation Classes
For children ages 12 and above who desire to make a mature commitment to Jesus Christ and become a formal member of the Episcopal Church, we offer informative and interactive Youth Confirmation Classes in the Spring. Please let Mother Rebecca know if you are interested in participating.

Christmas Eve Children's Pageant Every year we have a simple Christmas Eve pageant for children and their families during our Family Worship service. All children are welcome and invited to participate. It's a special event at this wonderful time of the year!
